Permabond offers several types of structural acrylic adhesive:

• No-mix adhesives with separate resin and initiator. Apply the adhesive to one substrate and then the initiator to the other.
• Single component – relies on at least one surface being an active metal to trigger the cure
• Bead-on-bead – Apply a bead of one part directly over the other part.
• Two-part pre-mix (use with mixing nozzles)

Methacrylate adhesives

Our structural acrylic adhesive range includes products based on MMA (methyl methacrylate.) Methyl methacrylate adhesives provide the ultimate strength performance on plastics.  However, these adhesives do have a distinct odor.

Acrylate based adhesives

Acrylate based adhesives are available in low odor formulations for improved worker comfort or for areas where ventilation is difficult. They also come in non-acidic formulations for sensitive electronic applications, as well as a large variety of non-flammable structural acrylic adhesives.
