¿Cómo adherir Polipropileno?

¿Qué es Polipropileno? – PP – El Polipropileno es un material termoplástico lo que significa un reto para adherir, gracias a su baja energía superficial. Su uso es muy variado debido a la versatilidad y bajo costo.

Polipropileno sometido a prueba de esfuerzo cortante o de cizalla usando Permabond TA4610 | ¡El PP se estira y el área de adhesión no se separa!

Permabond TA4610 forma enlaces de adhesión que hacen que el polipropileno pueda estirarse y hasta que falle antes de que se rompan los enlaces de la adhesión.


  • Energía Superficial: 29 mJ/m²
  • Temperatura máxima de servicio: 135°C
  • Temperatura de reblandecimiento: 160°C

¿Cómo adherir polipropileno? Consejo para el tratamiento de la superficie y adhesión:

Para polipropileno sin tratamiento existen varias opciones:

a) Adhesión sin tratamiento en la superficie: Seleccione los acrílicos estructurales Permabond TA46XX (TA4605, TA4610 & TA4611) que se desarrollaron especialmente para poliolefinas con baja energía superficial.

b) Aplique Primer con Permabond POP y aplique adhesivo de cianoacrilato únicamente (otros adhesivos no son compatibles con POP).

c) Tratamiento de la superficie con flama, corona o plasma para poder usar otros tipos de adhesivos.
