We are often asked for food safe adhesives that are different chemistries than epoxy, such as UV or cyanoacrylate. The term food safe and food-grade may have a different meaning to some people but generally, people requesting food-safe adhesives, expect them to be formulated only with raw materials listed in the FDA CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) 175.105 and 175.300. The ingredients to formulate UV or Cyanoacrylate are not listed in the code.
